DESCRIPTION OF WORK A Maintenance Repairman 2 performs various tradesperson tasks on a daily basis. These tasks include carpentry duties, painting, mason work, plumbing, roof repair, welding, and brazing.

Duties include routine and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems and equipment, adjusting valves and controls, and replacing valves, motors, or other parts in need of repair. You also operate tools and machinery associated with snow removal and grounds keeping. Grounds keeping tasks include maintaining lawn fixtures and flag poles, and winter maintenance equipment includes snowplows, snow-blowers, and salt spreaders. In addition, you are required to respond to the designated alternate or secondary location when directed in response to a catastrophic incident.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Salary:Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $39,003.00 (before taxes). Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.

Special Requirement: This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License. Legal Requirements:
