Responsibilities
The Automation/Robotic Technician is responsible for the assembly, setup, fabrication, debug and commissioning of new, used and rebuilt automated equipment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the preparation and completion of automated equipment. Monitor and apply safety standards to maintain a safe working environment
Provide mechanical support, including but not limited to, assembly, disassembly and rebuild of automated systems
Provide electrical support, including but not limited to , panel building, field wiring, troubleshooting and component setup
Provide fabrication support, machining, cutting and welding
Support Electrical and Mechanical Engineering teams as needed
Qualifications
AA Degree in Technical field or equivalent work experience
Motivated, self starter with a willingness to grow and learn new skills
Working knowledge of both AC & DC electrical circuitry
Working knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Reasoning, analytical, and problem solving skills
Desired Skills -
Prior Experience with automated equipment or machine assembly
Experience with Auto-Cad or there design software
Working knowledge of PLC or Robotic programming E.g. (Allen Bradley, Pro Face, Yaskawa, Fanuc, ABB) and machine vision systems)
