ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, in its Business Segment Industrial (BSI), seek a Business Controller to drive and develop business control in the Service Business . In this role, you will be responsible for budgeting, financial planning/reporting, and forecasting for the European BSI Service business. You will report to the BSI Service Director in Europe.

What do we do?

Business Segment Industrial (BSI) within the ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems division develops, promotes and sells products and services to our Industrial customers. We are a segment focusing on business across Europe and have product development, manufacturing, sales, installation and service. ​ The Service organisation within the BSI Europe segment develops, promotes, defines and deploys services and solutions for the service market, including maintenance, repair, upgrades, updates and upscaling of customers' equipment.

You can navigate different business environments freely and possess a strong business acumen You must have at least 5-8 years of relevant finance/controlling experience from an international organisation with service business as an essential arm to succeed in this role.

What will you be doing?

As a member of the BSI Service team, you will contribute to securing fast, reliable, and transparent reporting of consolidated group figures for many different stakeholders. Service Business is growing strong both organically and through frequent acquisitions. This creates a dynamic and complex structure, which you will be an essential part of restructuring, integrating, and developing.

In addition to the monthly closing, forecast and budget process, you will participate in numerous ad hoc projects, such as planning and executing profitability improvement, arranging training sessions for reporters, and conducting internal audit projects.

The position will require some travel as we are a team working internationally.

Location: Landskrona in Sweden or Heerhugowaard in the Netherlands

Key responsibilities:

  • Control and manage all financial reporting of BSI Service Business

  • Monthly,quaterly & yearly closing

  • Owner of yearly planning process & quarterly forecasting

  • Drive business analytics for continuous business improvements for all BSI Services.

  • Maintain internal control and ensure financial reporting quality.

  • Active participation in the overall development of Business Unit BSI Service

  • Coordinate, support, train, and develop service-controlling functions in all the sales companies.

  • Drive proactive business partnering, enabling good planning and forecasting in all areas of P&L not limited to but including fixed, variable, direct and indirect costs,

  • Monitoring and improving Field Operations cost within Service sales organization.

  • Ad-hoc support to the sales companies and roll out of central initiatives.

  • Follow-up of sales CRM KPI´s

  • Drive Transfer pricing rules, governance and control

    Key competencies:

  • Strong controlling & accounting skills from a larger listed company

  • Robust business analytics

  • Self-starter with high drive, energy and able to operate in a matrix organization

  • Excellent business acumen

  • Knowledege and skills of Business Intelligence tools, Excel, Power Point and possible HFM.

  • ERP experience is benefical

  • Leadership skills in inspiring and influencing

    Requirements:

  • Approx. 8 years of experience in business control & accounting

  • Strong MS Excel/office competence

  • University degree of Bachelor/Masters level

  • Business fluent in English
