Need 2 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators to work in Hector, MN. From: 04/03/2024 - 11/29/2024 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon.-Sat. 8 hrs./day Hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of time and a half. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here at his sole discretion. Must Apply By: 08/02/2024 JOB DESCRIPTION: Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery. Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment. Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools. Load hoppers, containers, or conveyors to feed machines with products, using forklifts, transfer augers, suction gates, shovels, or pitchforks. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers. Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil; plant and cultivate grain. Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 3 months experience; able to lift and carry items weighing up to 60 lbs.; work requires extensive sitting; valid Driver's License or able to obtain within 30 days of hire; no minimum education required; employer requires drug screen post hire at employer's expense. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
