Jordanelle Special Service District has an opening for Water Treatment Apprentice Operator. Essential function is to assist in maintaining and operating the Districts water treatment facilities.
· Monitors treatment plant(s) water quality at frequent intervals
· Gains knowledge of the water treatment to make appropriate adjustments to chemicals and flows
· Works with the operations staff in maintaining water quality in the treatment plant(s) and distribution system
· May interface with customers, contractors and consultants, representing the needs and interest of the District.
Physical requirements include bending, lifting, stooping and twisting.
