JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State Hazleton is seeking part time instructors for our Allied Health Programs.
Courses offered include but are not limited to; nurse aide, clinical medical assisting, phlebotomy, and pharmacy technician programs.
Programs may be offered during the day or evening. Instructors are wanted for the Hazleton, Danville, Hamburg/Reading area and counties of Luzerne, Schuylkill, Columbia and Lehigh Valley.
Requirements include:
Two to four years of instructional experience related to the field of instruction
Minimum of three years working in the health care field
At least one year of clinical experience in related field
Degree, certification and/or licensure in related field
A combination of education, training, and experience which would lead to the competencies required for successful performance of the positions essential duties may be considered
Must also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be highly organized, motivated and result driven
For nurse aide instruction must possess or have the ability to obtain the Train the Educator (TTE) Nurse Aide Instructor certificate
Current basic life support (BLS) certification (preferred)
