Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced Program Management Specialist to join our U.S. Government (USG) Apache Training Systems team in Hazelwood, MO . In this role, the focus will be on existing contract execution on the Longbow Crew Trainer (LCT) to include execution of Apache Simulation modernization analysis, sustainment and obsolescence management in order to meet current and future program requirements.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads others and directs all phases of assigned cross-organizational or business unit projects demonstrating proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g., PMI, Project Management Body of Knowledge [PMBOK], ANSI, and ISO standards)

  • Oversight, and management responsibility (including performance management & reporting) for a portfolio of small to medium size projects in support of organizational the goals and objectives

  • Identifies key stakeholder project specific objectives and requirements

  • Ensures assigned individuals are executing the identified and assigned tasks and providing appropriate tracking and reporting per plan

  • Provides in-depth analysis of project culminating with lessons learned and historical reports for incorporation into future project plans

  • Provides assessment of team performance to appropriate management

  • Develops solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation

  • Provides in depth analysis; identify lessons learned, provide historical reports to incorporate into future project plans

  • Provides input of team member performance to management, where appropriate

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance post-start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years’ experience in a role requiring project / program management skills

  • Earned Value Management experience

  • Experience with execution of program planning to ensure cost, schedule and technical baseline requirements are met

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working in a cross functional, AGILE environment

  • Experience with developing and delivering presentations to internal and external senior leaders

  • Experience working with government customers/contracts

  • Engineering education/experience or equivalent military experience

  • PMP Certification

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $87,550 - $118,450
