Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate, and Mid-Level Configuration Management Engineers to become part support of our Government Training Engineering Mobility, Surveillance, and Bombers Portfolio in Hazelwood, Missouri.

As part of our team, you will be focused on configuration management ensuring engineering changes are documented and managed throughout the development life cycle. Configuration management involves using tools and processes for establishing consistency of a product’s attributes throughout its life. You will be a part of an organization that provides industry leadership in in defense aviation training and capabilities, including custom software development, engineering and technical services, and a range of services to support training centers and pilot provisioning worldwide.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support the definition and allocation of Configuration Management requirements for product hardware, software and engineering design data systems throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Facilitate Configuration Control Boards. Actively manage the hardware and software baselines throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Interact with customers and capture configuration escapes and defects.

  • Act as a functional liaison to other engineering and program management teams.

  • Support the development and creation of media, Software product end items, and other baseline deliverables to the Customer.

  • Assist with plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory and company requirements and to maintain configuration control.

  • Support certification plans, integrated process architecture infrastructures, process models, product structure definitions and/or data requirements/data management processes

  • Conduct software and hardware configuration audits on training devices

  • Act as a custodian for classified material

  • Author technical documentation or CDRLs for submittal to government customers.

  • Occasional Travel required: 25%.

  • May be asked to support additional programs as needed.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

This position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options Hazelwood, MO. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

  • 1+ years of experience performing Configuration Management.

  • 2+ years of relevant systems engineering experience.

  • 1+ years of experience in PC Hardware.

  • Experience in software development, documentation creation/release and project management.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years' experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience with software configuration management tools such as ClearCase/ClearQuest or Version One, Jira.

  • Experience with Git and Git-Flow methodology.

  • Experience working within Scaled Agile Framework.

  • 3+ years of experience with training devices (i.e. any type of flight, mission or maintenance training devices).

  • 3+ years of experience managing technical projects in engineering, technology, or construction.

Typical Education & Experience:

Associate level:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Mid-level:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Associate Level Summary pay range: $73,950 - $100,050

Mid-Level Summary pay range: $90,100 - $121,900
