Shift First Overview
Supervisor Inventory Control Develops, implements, and maintains Inventory Control procedures. Directs activities of material handlers and cycle counters.
Responsibilities
Conducts regular inventory analysis and resolves inventory discrepancies and issues. Coordinates and manages physical cycle counts and load to location audits. Develops and implements strategies, policies, and procedures intended to resolve and reduce inventory discrepancies. Monitors and maintains the integrity of inventory data in the system. Interfaces with Sales, Engineering, and other departments to disposition slow moving and obsolete inventories. Develops, implements, and maintains Inventory Control procedures. Supervises the work of a high-performing team of material handlers and cycle counters. Reviews, analyzes, and reports on inventory data. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Job Skills Requirements Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Proficiency with production planning software and ERP systems. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams. Educational Requirements Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent experience required. Experience Requirements Five years of relevant experience required. Prior experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.
