We are currently seeking skilled and reliable Class B Drivers to join our transportation team. Responsibilities
Safely operate a Class B commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials through the five boroughs.
Utilize hand trucks and other equipment to efficiently and safely unload trucks at specified locations.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers to receive daily routes and updates.
Follow the assigned routes and make adjustments as needed based on traffic or other unforeseen circumstances.
Collect and manage invoices related to delivered goods.
Ensure accuracy in documentation and report any discrepancies or issues promptly.
Perform routine inspections on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Report any mechanical issues to the appropriate channels for timely resolution.
Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information.
The essential functions of this role include:
- manual lifting up to 50lbs
