Mississippi State Job Bank Caregiver/Teacher Assistant in Hattiesburg, Mississippi
Provide quality care to all children amongst the facility; ensure the safety and well being of the children.
Supervise children at all times.
Maintain and implement the needs and services for all children in your care.
Maintain a sleep log, chart daily eating and drinking habits, and active moods.
Change and track/chart diapering hourly for all children in diapers or pull-ups.
Encourage healthy habits, hygiene, and help with toilet training.
Clean tables, stack chairs, sweep floor, vacuum rugs, empty trash, and clean restroom your class is responsible for using.
Keep rooms clean and organized clutter and junk free.
Follow policies and procedures governed by LCLA.
Promote a fun, safe, and healthy environment for all children.
Implement and follow schedules/routines daily.
Create and implement developmentally appropriate activities.
Compliance with all emergency and safety procedures and protocol.
Organize, clean, and sterilize room, equipment, and toys to maintain a clean and orderly environment.
Meet the physical, social, and emotional needs of the children in their care.
Maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and center staff.
Report to Director all behavioral issues, health issues/concerns, ongoing developmental goals, and otherwise pertinent information.
