Controls Technician Weekly Pay

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician to join our team. This individual will be responsible for building electrical control panels for a variety of custom testing equipment across multiple industries.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics.

  • Properly build and layout custom electrical panels.

  • Perform clean and organized point-to-point wiring on control panels.

  • Test finished panels to ensure they are operating properly.

  • Wire switches, controls wiring, and run conduit (EMT Conduit).

  • Use a variety of electrical tools, tape measures, hand tools, power tools, drills, etc.

  • Inspect work to ensure everything is functioning correctly.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Industrial Electrical or Electrical Technician experience.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.

  • Experience in electrical control panel building.

  • Familiarity with AC/DC motors and motor control.

  • Proficiency in wiring schematics.

  • Skills in conduit bending and control systems.

  • Experience with Allen Bradley PLC.

  • Electrical testing skills.

  • 2+ years of experience in Industrial Electrical or Panel Building.

  • Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
