Curtiss-Wright Corporation Area Sales Manager in Hatfield, Pennsylvania

We are looking for an Area Sales Manager-Remote to join our EST team.

** Will travel extensively in Western Region.

Your Responsibilities:

Responsible for selling the company’s products and growing the business in a particular territory. Primary responsibility may include identifying new business opportunities, generating and developing new OEM/VAR partners to sell the company’s products to end-users. Develop new accounts and/or expands existing OEM/VAR customer revenues. New business pursuits will involve multi-level sales efforts which will demand building credibility and developing relationships both externally and internally. Customers may be geographic or named accounts.

Your Challenge:

  • Assist in developing sales strategies that will produce maximum market penetration. Identifies objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings.

  • Review market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.

  • Analyze sales statistics to formulate policy and promote sales. Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.

  • Meet with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals. May ensure the effective use of the sales accountability program throughout the division and interpret long and short-term effect on sales strategies on operating profit.

  • Establish and maintains close personal contact with top echelon customers.

  • Attend a variety of conferences and other external meetings to explore sales opportunities

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or equivalent work experience

  • 4+ years outside sales experience calling on the chemical, Petro-Chemical and power industry working with heat exchangers and condensers.

  • In-depth understanding of customer needs in region and market.

  • Adaptability to market changes and trends

  • All candidates must pass a drug/alcohol test and extensive background check and be a US Citizen

Salary: 139,000-174,000
