Customer Service Representative 1 - HDT - Hastings, Michigan As a CSR 1, you will be part of a team that creates value by positively impacting the customer experience. In this role you will assist in day-to-day activities with both internal and external customers, ensuring accuracy, managing multiple demands, and interacting with team members across functional groups.

Duties include:

• Launch customer quotes received into PLM with speed and accuracy, including all documents.
• Support the CSR team in forecast management and contracts, maintaining accuracy and speed.
• Enter stand-alone Purchase Orders in Baan LN and confirm communication to customers through sales order acknowledgement.
• EDI sales order acknowledgement, approving and processing.
• Enter Experimental Part orders, entering orders into both PLM and Baan LN.
• Initiate new part set up in PLM.
• Process tooling and Air Freight orders, entering orders into Baan LN.
• Prioritize Emergency Orders and enter in Baan LN following Emergency Order Procedure.
• Manage incoming Web submissions and direct to appropriate team to address.
• Support the CSR team on various order management reports, ensuring accuracy and timelines are met.
• Initiate customer concerns in the complaint management system RGA processing.
• Support the CSR team with daily tasks as needed, allowing them to address other critical needs.

• Assist with special projects as needed to support the customer service team in its entirety.

   

*QUALIFICATIONS: *

• GED or equivalent.
• 1-3 years' work experience in an office environment, preferred.
• 1-year experience with Flexfab, preferred.
• Detailed oriented, focused on tasks, high concentration levels.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using MS Office Suite, focus on Excel and managing large amounts of data.
• Experience using Baan LN, PLM system, preferred.

• Data entry and/or fast typing skills: touch- typing preferred.
