**[Core Responsibilities:

[Department: Repair Reports To: Fluid Power Manager [Summary: [The Hydraulic and pneumatic Cylinder Repair Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders. This includes inspecting, disassembling, repairing, and assembling cylinders; testing and calibrating cylinders; and replacing worn or damaged parts. The technician must have a strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic principles and be able to use a variety of tools and equipment. [Throughout the process of repairing pneumatic (air) and hydraulic cylinders, motors, pumps, and valves etc. an employee must be able to adhere to the following processes and procedures with a very high level of attention to detail, precision, and speed. The JIT Repair processes and procedures consist of but are not limited to the following:]{century="" gothic=""}

Receive and document customer repair assets upon arrival according to customer name, date, location, and any other pertinent information relating to the asset.

Clean and inspect asset externally in preparation for measurements, documentation, and further disassembly.

Document any obvious external points of failure and capture critical external measurements (Tape measure and calipers) for each asset according to type/style/model.

Disassembly of assets with ongoing documentation of parts orientations and other various details crucial to proper repair of and reassembly of customer asset.

Further cleaning, inspection, and diagnosis of internal parts and points of failure, documenting all work to be performed and capturing critical internal parts measurements (Tape measure and calipers).

Deliver parts in need of replacement or modification to corresponding shop locations or pull directly from inventory if applicable.

Check regularly throughout the day in designated locations for completed parts to be returned to customer asset locations.

Reassemble customer assets once all required parts are retrieved.

Test and calibrate customer assets and perform quality inspection for points of failure if not functioning properly.

Once quality inspection is passed, deliver customer assets to shipping department for secondary testing, painting, and shipping preparation.

Return completed/repaired customer assets to the outbound delivery rack to be returned to the customer.

Follow all safety protocols and procedures.

Maintain neat, clean, and orderly workspace as well as sustain existing system of organization for customer assets.
