Datavant Supervisor, EMR Remote Operations - Global Operations in Hartford, Connecticut

The Global Operations Supervisor is responsible for client/customer service and serves as a knowledge expert for the global HIS staff. The role focuses on global operations management, training, as well as ensuring processes are completed in compliance with established guidelines. This role may also assist leadership with planning, developing, and implementing departmental projects. This role provides support to Global Health Information Operations Manager. The Global Operations Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining workflow and productivity of the global HIS's as well as handling escalations.

This position requires travel to India for two weeks at least once per quarter.

You Will:

  • Knowledge expert for global partners

  • Lead training of global associates

  • Generates reports for global partners, management and clients as directed.

  • Oversee Quality Assurance for global partners.

  • Lead recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of lead, QA, and training staff.

  • Develop and manage overall workflow for various clients.

  • Update Standard Operating Procedures with global partners as needed.

  • Inform senior leadership of issues, opportunities, or challenges

  • Ability to manage multiple projects

  • Inform manager of work, site difficulties, and/or fluctuating volumes.

  • Build relationships with cross-functional teams

  • Inform senior leadership of issues, opportunities, or challenges.

  • Responsible for Corrective Action Plans and development of staff.

  • Participates in project teams and committees to advance operational Strategies and initiatives as needed.

  • Maintain confidentiality and security with all privileged information.

  • Maintain working knowledge of Company and facility software.

  • Adhere to the Company's and Customer facilities Code of Conduct and policies.

  • Responsible for safeguarding patient records and ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.

  • Handle various tasks as directed by their Health Information Operations Manager.

What You Will Bring to the Table:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Willing to travel to meet with global partners

  • 2-years Health Information related experience.3+ years preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability or experience in leading projects and processes.

  • Comfortable utilizing phones, general office equipment on a regular basis.

  • Professional verbal and written communication skills in the English language.

  • Detail and quality oriented as it relates to accurate and compliant information for medical records.

  • Previous production/metric-based work experience preferred.

  • Must be able to work with minimum supervision responding to changing priorities and role needs.

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks.

  • Able to respond to requests in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong presentation skills.

  •  Forward thinking and ability to problem solve.

  • Comfortable bringing new ideas, process improvement suggestions, and feedback to internal stakeholders.

  • Ability to delegate effectively.

The range posted is for a given job title, which can include multiple levels. Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on their level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job.

The estimated total cash compensation range for this role is:

$57,000—$60,000 USD
