Job Description
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Director to lead our AI Infrastructure Platform Innovation efforts. In this strategic role, you will guide the evaluation and integration of cutting-edge AI/ML technologies, influence the future of OCI’s AI infrastructure roadmap, and collaborate closely with key customers and partners to prototype the next generation of platform capabilities.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Build and lead a high-impact engineering team focused on rapid innovation in AI infrastructure platforms.
Evaluate and experiment with emerging AI/ML models and algorithms , identifying their potential for internal use and their implications for OCI’s infrastructure strategy.
Define and establish performance benchmarks for AI infrastructure at scale.
Partner with product and engineering teams to translate R&D findings into actionable strategies that enhance OCI’s AI platform capabilities.
Launch and drive joint innovation pilots in collaboration with strategic customers and ecosystem partners.
Influence cross-functional stakeholders and OCI leadership by providing thought leadership in AI infrastructure trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
Proven experience leading technical innovation teams in AI, infrastructure, or cloud platform domains.
Deep understanding of machine learning systems, model architectures, and the infrastructure required to train and deploy them at scale.
Demonstrated success driving prototyping initiatives from concept through implementation in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence executive and cross-functional teams.
15+ years of engineering or R&D experience, with significant leadership in AI/ML, infrastructure, or systems architecture.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $141,200 to $338,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
