The Global Total Rewards Consultant role is an exciting opportunity to develop, support and maintain global, market-competitive compensation and benefit programs that foster a high-performance culture and enable the attraction and retention of talent. As part of the corporate Total Rewards team, this role will provide consultative, analytical, technical, and administrative support across all total rewards offerings. Estimated time spent will include 70-80% in Compensation and 20-30% in Benefits.

Total Rewards Overall:

  • Drive the development, implementation and maintenance of competitive global total rewards programs, practices, and policies that support organizational and departmental strategic objectives.

  • Develop, maintain, and deliver effective communications and training to HR, leaders, and employees to build awareness and understanding of programs.

  • Assist in research, analysis, and recommendations that support the development and implementation of best practices.

  • Assist in creating compelling presentations for the Executive Team, HR Leadership Team, Board Compensation Committee, Total Rewards Committee, and others.

  • Perform advanced analytics to identify trends, pain points, root causes and make recommendations to address.

  • Create total rewards tools and resources and maintain total rewards information in company systems and portals.

  • Support the review, implementation, testing, and maintenance of systems and technology to support compensation and benefit processes.

  • Proactively audit total rewards-related data on an ongoing basis. Partner with vendors, payroll, and HR to correct discrepancies.

  • In partnership with Legal, monitor the legislative landscape and ensure compliance with all compensation and benefits related activities.

  • Participate in project teams associated with mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, owning the total rewards transition and related employee experience.

  • Participate in the review, implementation, testing and maintenance of systems and technology to support total rewards processes. Proactively audit data on an ongoing basis.

Compensation ( 70-80%) :

  • Collaborate with and provide expert compensation consultation to HR (Human Resources) team members and business leaders.

  • Evaluate and analyze employee compensation and market data, compensation level, short or long-term compensation eligibility and make pay recommendations aligned with overall compensation philosophy and competitive market pay.

  • Consult with business leaders, finance, and HR on incentive plan design, including sales incentive plans.

  • Assist with annual review and ongoing job architecture maintenance for jobs and salary structures including the creation of job families, job codes and job titles.

  • Manage compensation data organization, maintenance, and use, including salary survey research, analysis, and submission.

  • Maintain job matching database, partner with survey tool vendor and leverage Workday reporting to run and upload data. Work with HR Partners and business leaders to ensure accuracy of all job matches.

  • Develop and administer market adjustment and annual salary adjustment programs to include analysis of market data, position-to-market, trends, budgets, pay differentials. Create project plans and communications materials to support HR and leaders through these processes.

Benefits (20-30%):

  • Support benefits team in day-to-day plan operations for health, welfare, retirement, and wellness programs.

  • Assist with all annual enrollment activities and communications.

  • In partnership with finance, manage monthly billing process ensuring timely and accurate payment processing.

  • Participate in vendor meetings and RFP processes to stay abreast of industry trends.

  • Create and maintain accurate plan information, materials, and tools.

  • Ensure benefit plan compliance and timely submission of required government reporting.

  • Support the design and implementation of wellness week and other wellness related activities and information.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field required.

  • 8+ years of global compensation and/or benefits experience required.

  • Focused experience developing and administering international compensation plans and programs; sales incentive plan design experience required.

  • Demonstrated broad understanding and experience in developing and administering global compensation and benefit programs.

  • Collaborative team player who builds partnerships with internal and external contacts at all organizational levels in a matrixed environment

  • Strong organization and project management skills

  • Easily prioritizes work in a demanding environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills

  • Digitally savvy and comfortable with technology tools

  • Workday experience strongly preferred.

  • Highly resourceful, self-motivated problem solver

  • An adaptive individual who is comfortable with ambiguity

  • Minimal overnight travel may be required.

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.

$88,600.00 - $141,800.00 USD
