ComSonics Inc Junior Buyer in Harrisonburg, Virginia
ComSonics is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Buyer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn about sourcing, supplier relationships, and procurement processes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with sourcing and procuring goods and services
- Support contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms
- Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers
- Monitor market trends and identify potential cost-saving opportunities
- Assist in resolving supplier performance issues when needed
- Help manage inventory levels and assist with purchasing processes
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree (or equivalent experience/training) and 0-6 months of related experience
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
- Basic understanding of procurement software (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Kinetic) or similar tools
- Interest in supply chain processes and procurement practices
- Ability to analyze basic data and make decisions with guidance
