Cincinnati Incorporated Payroll Specialist in Harrison, Ohio

Payroll Specialist- Harrison, OH (JOB ID: 1195).

Are you a detail-oriented Payroll professional with hands-on experience using Paycor? Position Summary and Purpose: Responsible to ensure accurate processing and recording of company’s payroll, provide timely and accurate financial information, maintain accurate records in regard to payroll functions in accordance with policies, principles and procedures established by the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL:

  • Ensure accurate tracking of time and attendance.

  • Process weekly and semi-monthly payrolls

  • Download payroll journals to general ledger.

  • Prepare reports of payroll activity as requested by the Controller or other department managers.

  • Maintain 401K information for employees.

  • Process Canadian payroll

  • Prepare payroll information required for audits.

Education and Experience:

REQUIRED:

  • High School

  • 3-5 years of Payroll experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Characteristics, etc.

REQUIRED:

  • Must have strong knowledge, and experience using PAYCOR for payroll

  • Be Knowledgeable in payroll principles, practices, regulations, and procedures.

  • Possess general knowledge of accounting practices and procedures.

  • Proficient in preparing detailed reports.

  • Proficient in performing detailed computations.

  • Strong customer orientation.

VALUED BUT NOT REQUIRED:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software as well as accounting software.

  • Knowledge and understanding of Paycor.
