Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Safety Inspection Supervisor in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will oversee staff activities related to inspection and investigation of medical marijuana dispensaries, grower processors and clinical registrants. You will also participate in operational and pre-operational inspections of new construction and initial facility openings.

As a supervisor, you will assign and review field inspectors' routine work, establish priorities, provide technical guidance, evaluate their performances, and ensure their professional development. You will also interpret labor agreements and resolve complaints or grievances.

You will review inspection findings, elevate compliance issues for legal action, and determine emerging issues. When necessary, you will collaborate with law enforcement, legal teams, and state and federal agencies for the purposes of auditing, inspecting investigating, incident response, and legal action.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of experience as a Safety Inspector; or Two years of experience inspecting commercial, industrial, healthcare or other buildings, structures, machines, apparatus, devices or equipment for compliance with applicable safety codes and regulations; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Condition of Employment: This position requires possession of a valid PA Class C Driver's License. Other Requirements: You must meet the PA residency requirement.
