DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Medical Assistance Program Technician Supervisor, your primary tasks involve the oversight and management responsibility for the Managed Care Technical Support Unit. This involves supervising four Medical Assistance Technician staff in performing support functions for Managed Care enrollment and capitation payments.

Other responsibilities of the position include the identification and correction of Managed Care enrollments and capitation payments. This includes approximately 2 million members enrolled statewide. In addition, you are responsible for using Electronic Client Information Systems and Provider Reimbursement and Operations Management Information System to make necessary changes.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You will have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Currently we are meeting once a month in office. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience as a Medical Assistance Program Technician; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
