DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Management Analyst 2, you will create and modify desktop publishing files and render complex graphics, layouts, and visual systems using a computer or, occasionally, by hand.  In general, the materials you will produce include printed applications, forms, posters, newsletters, publications, flyers, bulletins, brochures, logo design, building signage, murals and visual exhibits, and other illustrations or graphics as needed.  You will also be responsible for ordering forms and other types of graphic communications for all Department of Labor and Industry offices by obtaining print quotes, writing specifications, and completing purchase orders.

Within this role, you will meet with program office personnel and others as needed to discuss, advise, and determine project objectives and designate project methods based on skill and knowledge.  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.  This position also performs various analysis and research on the history of forms, prior to any reprinting, by contacting the program and administrative offices in order to determine current effectiveness, final design, and construction.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time.  In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.  If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of experience as a Management Analyst 1; or Two years of experience in technical management analysis work, and a bachelor's degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
