DESCRIPTION OF WORK This Information Technology Generalist Administrator 1 works closely with personnel from agency offices, project managers, other HHS ITDC personnel, and a variety of teams to research and develop procurement projects, obtain data from technical staff and subject matter experts, and develop top quality technical and management solicitation and evaluation documents. You will have the opportunity to analyze and provide direction for complex procurement processes and requirements, assist in the management of project deliverables from the point of submission through and including invoicing and payment, and coordinate communications across teams and through both procurement and contract processes. Procurement knowledge is essential, and a Pennsylvania Purchasing Agent Certification is a plus! Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment. Work hours are 7.5 hours per day. Candidate may decide schedule within the range of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with choice of a 30 or 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may be expected to work from home (telework) full-time. You will be required to report to the headquarters office once a month. You must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as an Information Technology Generalist 2, Applications Developer 2, Database Analyst, Information Security Specialist 1, or Network Specialist 2; or Five years of information technology experience that includes two years of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administration of information technology security programs, or other information technology support/administration services; or Three years of information technology experience that includes two years of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administration of information technology security programs, or other information technology support/administration services, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; or One year of technical information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, network operation or network maintenance, web site development or web site design, database maintenance or database development, data analysis and data model development, administrati n of information technology security programs, or other information technology support/administration services, and a bachelor's degree in any information technology field; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Other Requirements: This particular position also requires one or more years of full-time experience with Information Technology procurement. You must meet the PA residency requirement.
