DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this management level position, you will be involved in the planning, developing, implementation and monitoring of operational activities within the Bureau of Fee-for-Service Programs. This work includes examination of present practices, research and development of potential changes, recommendations for changes to internal policies, as well as program and operational procedures. This position also includes streamlining section, division, and bureau processes and procedures to promote positive impacts to the Medical Assistance (MA) Program.

As a Human Services Program Specialist Supervisor, you will use significant independent judgment and initiative in order to achieve defined goals and objectives. Utilizing your proficient oral and written communication skills will be essential in this position. You will also be responsible for the development, implementation and analysis of projects and processes to enhance workflow, productivity, and encourage efficient bureau operations. In this role, you will be interacting with high level department and government officials, attorneys, key stakeholders, and external industry representatives.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Telework: This position may be eligible for part-time telework after a six month in-person training period. Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Human Services Program Specialist (commonwealth title); or Two years of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs; or An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs.
