DESCRIPTION OF WORK In the role of Executive Assistant to the Deputy Secretary for Multimodal Transportation, you will collaborate with the executive team and various PennDOT departments on matters concerning aviation, railways, ports, public transportation systems, bicycles, and pedestrians. Responsibilities may involve analyzing reports to offer suggestions, representing the Office of Multimodal Transportation at various events, and aiding in schedule coordination. Strong communication abilities and experience in public speaking are essential for excelling in this role.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. This position is eligible for alternate work schedule (AWS). Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Six years of professional experience in administrative management or staff work, three of which must have been in a large public agency; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university supplemented by graduate work in public administration to the level of a Master's Degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirement: You must have 2 or more years of experience in project management including establishing project goals, deliverables, and timelines. You must have 1 or more years of experience in developing program or project budgets. You must have 1 or more years of experience in developing and finalizing program status reports. You must be able to perform essential job functions. How to Apply:
