Cyber Security Engineer

Harrisburg, PA

Hybrid

Contract

$54/hr - $60/hr

An educational non-profit is Harrisburg, PA is looking for a security engineer. Specifically this role will focus on network security including vulnerability management, intrusion detection/prevention, patch management, network monitoring and incident handling tools. Experience with relevant technologies including Tenable.sc, nessus Scanner, Nessus manager, MS Defender, Bitdefender, and similar is preferred. Experience with NIST 800-53 also preferred.

This is a 6-month contract with the opportunity for extension or conversion

Hybrid (1-2 days per week) In Harrisburg, PA Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ Years of experience in network security & vulnerability management technologies

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or similar
