DESCRIPTION OF WORK As the Counter Services Section Manager, you will be responsible for managing the operations of the Customer Service Counter Unit and the Messenger Service Unit, ensuring that all processes and services are customer-oriented and efficient. You will also manage the flow of customers through the Q-MATIC system, aiming to achieve a Customer Service Index goal of 4.5 and meet established guidelines for customer wait times. Additionally, the Customer Service Section Manager will recognize and reward the contributions of section groups and individuals who contribute to the advancement of PennDOT. Other duties include implementing new procedures, assisting with complex issues and complaints, and enhancing the security of section products and systems.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Four years of experience in progressively responsible and varied line management or administrative staff work in a public or private organization, including two years with a state motor vehicles program, an automobile service organization, motor vehicle manufacturer, or other comparable organization associated with the automobile industry which provided experience in the application and interpretation of state motor vehicle laws; and such training as may have been gained from graduation from a four-year college or university; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
