Reference #: 4326236 THE POSITION The Department of Health is looking for a highly motivated individual with an attention for detail. We have an opening for a Clerical Assistant 3 within the Bureau of Health Statistics and Registries, Division of Statistical Registries. If you have clerical experience, this may be the position for you.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Clerical Assistant 3, you will provide advice and counsel to consumers on the nuances of specific situations about allowable changes to a birth record and the legal requirements for each. You will also participate in quality assurance activities to improve quality of processes for corrections and amendments, as well as participate in training events for identifying and responding to fraudulent requests, identifications, and documents. In addition, you will assemble data about the type and amount of work performed and complete daily production reports.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Limited Term, Full-time employment. This is a limited term full-time wage position with benefits (Bronze Plan). Duration of employment is approximately six months with possible extension for an additional 6 months. Hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 1-hour lunch. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title); or One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
