DESCRIPTION OF WORK The Department of the Auditor General (DAG) is looking to fill one Auditor 4 position within the Bureau of Performance Audits. An employee in this position is responsible for supervising the work of performance audits of Commonwealth agencies and state-owned institutions, as well as other special projects as assigned by management. The Auditor 4 position is responsible for planning, directing, and supervising auditors in accordance with department and bureau policies, procedures, and Government Auditing Standards, as applicable, as well as relevant laws, regulations, and auditing standards. The Auditor 4 motivates, empowers, and builds teamwork by providing mentorship and on-the-job training to the audit staff. Auditor 4s also complete and submit administrative reports, travel to audit sites and training sessions within and outside the Commonwealth, and perform other related duties as required.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting/auditing from an accredited college or university; or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with at least 12 credits in accounting/auditing and an equivalent combination of work experience in government auditing and training.

Additional Requirements:

You must have a valid Pennsylvania Drivers' License. You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Preferred Qualifications (not required): One or more of the following certifications: CPA (Certified Public Accountant) CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) CGAP (Certified Government Auditing Professional) CGFM (Certified Government Financial Manager) CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
