DESCRIPTION OF WORK This Administrative Assistant 1 provides support to staff who maintain campaign finance and lobbying disclosure reports and registrations from candidates, political committees, and lobbyists and make them available to the public. Attention to detail is essential as this position reviews campaign finance and lobbying disclosure reports for accuracy, inconsistencies, and violations of the law in addition to preparing a failed to file list for the Attorney General's Office. This involves pulling files and documents from online and researching the list to ensure all registrants should be referred for non-payment. Other responsibilities include assisting customers at the front desk, over the phone, and via email. This position also serves as Bureau's timekeeper and requisitioner and assists the manager with quality assurance testing for internal databases, making recommendations based on results.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to two days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university or any equivalent combination of experience and training. Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.

Additional Requirements: You must possess at least 2 years of customer service and de-escalation experience. You must possess at least 2 years of experience working with Microsoft Office Suites. You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Preferred Qualifications (not required): Experience prioritizing and multitasking in a fast-paced environment, which includes managing several tasks and projects at the same time. Professional experience interacting with high-level internal and external customers. Professional experience maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
