DESCRIPTION OF WORK As an Accountant 3, you will perform professional accounting work in the classification, analysis, and reporting of financial data. You will be monitoring and tracking numerous funding sources, as well as supervising and training professional staff in the activities related to grant administration for numerous federal and state programs. In this role, you will utilize your advanced management and supervisory skills to effectively manage activities and assign work to subordinates. You will also be responsible for training, approving leave, developing performance standards, and preparing performance reviews for the subordinates reporting to you.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment (37.5-hours per week) Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. You will be required to report to the office at least once a month and as required by your supervisor. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Please note, telework agreements are subject to change. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as an Accountant 2; or Three years of progressively responsible professional accounting experience, and graduation from a four-year college or university, including or supplemented by fifteen credits in accounting. Four years of bookkeeping experience and fifteen college credits in accounting may be substituted for college graduation. A Master's degree in Accounting or a related field may be substituted for one year of general work experience. Other Requirements:
