We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Deli General Manager to join our team in Hardeeville, United States. As the Deli General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our high-volume deli operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.
Develop and execute business strategies to achieve sales and profit objectives
Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high-quality food standards and service
Manage and mentor a team of deli staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stock rotation
Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, address concerns, and boost morale
Maintain effective relationships with vendors and suppliers
Implement and enforce food safety and sanitation protocols
Analyze financial reports and perform P&L analysis to optimize operations
Create and maintain a customer-focused culture within the deli
Resolve customer complaints and address any issues promptly and professionally
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
Qualifications

2-3 years of management experience in restaurant, deli, or foodservice industry
Proven track record of success in high-volume retail management with P&L accountability
Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, coach, and develop high-performing teams
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to create a customer-focused culture
Proficiency in inventory management and point-of-sale (POS) systems
Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for effective P&L analysis
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment
