We are looking for an Agile Scrum Master to join our team for a long-term contract in Atlanta, GA (hybrid).

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master and/or Business Analyst in an IT environment.

  • Proficient in using Agility or similar agile project management tools.

  • Solid understanding of Agile principles and frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical deliverables.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with airline operations or travel industry IT systems is a plus.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is highly desirable.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Leading and facilitating Scrum events like Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Story Grooming, Demos, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.

  • Ensuring these events are effective and focused on achieving team goals.

  • Identifying and removing obstacles that hinder the team's progress.

  • Acting as a liaison between the Scrum team and external stakeholders to address issues, including initiative Kickoffs, feedback loops and progress discussions.

  • Coaching the Scrum team and the wider organization on Scrum theory and practice.

  • Helping the team understand and adopt Agile principles and best practices.

  • Empowering the team to self-organize and make decisions about their work.

  • Fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

  • Identifying areas for improvement in the team's workflow and processes.

  • Experimenting with new approaches and practices to enhance team performance.

  • Acting as a bridge between the Scrum team and other stakeholders, including product owners and management.

  • Communicating the team's progress and challenges effectively.
