Description
We are seeking a remote Project Manager for our Health Pharm/Biotech sector. The role involves planning, directing, coordinating non-IT projects, and overseeing the integration of various technical activities. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity where the incumbent will be involved in various fields such as engineering research, development, financial systems, and product roll-out.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate projects from inception to completion, making detailed plans to accomplish goals while overseeing the integration of technical activities.
Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients, effectively communicating complex ideas.
Recruit, assign, direct, and evaluate staff work, while fostering a professional environment conducive to continuous development and high performance.
Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
Engage with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
Review, recommend, or approve contracts and cost estimates to ensure project profitability.
Direct, review, and approve product designs and changes, maintaining high standards of quality and innovation.
Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Requirements
Skills:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal capabilities.
Expert ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively.
Advanced leadership and mentoring skills necessary for providing support and constructive performance feedback.
In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
Comprehensive understanding of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
Proficiency in computer software, including MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, etc.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field required.
PMI or PMP certification is preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management roles.
