Robert Half Project/Program Manager in Hanover, Maryland

Description

We are seeking a remote Project Manager for our Health Pharm/Biotech sector. The role involves planning, directing, coordinating non-IT projects, and overseeing the integration of various technical activities. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity where the incumbent will be involved in various fields such as engineering research, development, financial systems, and product roll-out.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate projects from inception to completion, making detailed plans to accomplish goals while overseeing the integration of technical activities.

  • Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients, effectively communicating complex ideas.

  • Recruit, assign, direct, and evaluate staff work, while fostering a professional environment conducive to continuous development and high performance.

  • Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.

  • Engage with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.

  • Review, recommend, or approve contracts and cost estimates to ensure project profitability.

  • Direct, review, and approve product designs and changes, maintaining high standards of quality and innovation.

  • Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

    Requirements

Skills:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal capabilities.

  • Expert ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively.

  • Advanced leadership and mentoring skills necessary for providing support and constructive performance feedback.

  • In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

  • Comprehensive understanding of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.

  • Proficiency in computer software, including MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, etc.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field required.

  • PMI or PMP certification is preferred.

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management roles.
