AON Deputy Manager, Commercial Risk in Hanoi, Vietnam

Aon Vietnam is currently recruiting Deputy Manager ( Chinese speaking is an advantage ) to join our team in Hanoi.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for executing the in-country CRA growth plan (including but not limited to Property All Risks, Liability Insurance, Affinity Insurance) and focus on new sales.

  • Stay on track and increase year on year client retention ratio (renewal account) .

  • Executing the agreed growth plan, budget for allocated client portfolio and contributing to the annual planning cycle.

  • Managing the growth planning framework including a regular and dynamic focus on the Market Assessment process.

  • Shared ownership of the Pipeline with supervisor.

  • Coordinate, align and focus best resources to pipeline opportunities.

  • Identify, design and present suitable solutions that help to transfer and mitigate Clients’ risks

  • Provide timely assistance to Clients’ needs with respect to their insurance program

  • Constantly identifying valuable clients and where the biggest opportunities exist, developing client relationships positively influencing sales and client retention.

  • Positive Net Promoter Score from clients and regularly review value proposition to increase overall partnership position.

  • Accurate and timely input of leads and pipelines in required internal platform.

  • Reviewing all out-going client documents including but not limited to renewal contracts, client workshop communications/deck.

  • Undertake other accounts / projects/ initiatives as might be assigned.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success.

  • University graduates, major in Non-life Insurance/ Economics/ Finance/ Banking/ Business

  • Having minimum 3 years of experience in Non-life Insurance/ Banking/ Finance/ Economics/ Account Management/ Project Management roles

  • Strong interpersonal skills – effective communication across organizational levels, self-awareness and emotional intelligence

  • Fluency in written and verbal communication in Vietnamese and English (working with colleagues across APAC) , fluency in Chinese is an advantage.

  • Having analytical mindset, critical thinking and problem-solving skill

  • Demonstration of self-discipline and organization

  • Devoted to details, motivated to achieve goals, possesses strong business knowledge

  • Proficient with MS Office systems

  • Working experience in insurance/ reinsurance industry .
