We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Curing Engineer (m/f/diverse) to join our team in Hannover, Germany. As a Curing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing curing processes, ensuring product quality, and driving innovation in our manufacturing operations.
Develop and report curing portfolio management including demand and use forecast
Develop, implement, and optimize curing processes for various polymer-based products
Analyze and troubleshoot curing-related issues to improve product quality and production efficiency
Design and conduct experiments to evaluate new curing technologies and materials
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product performance and manufacturing processes
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for curing processes
Analyze data and prepare technical reports on curing process performance and improvements
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in curing technologies and industry best practices
Provide technical support and training to production teams on curing processes and equipment
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred
Several years of experience in curing engineering or related field
Extensive knowledge of curing processes, polymer chemistry, and material science
Proven experience with various curing methods (e.g., thermal, UV, electron beam)
Strong proficiency in process optimization and quality control techniques
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Advanced data analysis and interpretation abilities
Proficiency in relevant software, including CAD and statistical analysis tools
Experience in the rubber and polymer industry; automotive or aerospace manufacturing experience is a plus
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Willingness to travel occasionally for project-related purposes
