We're looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our client's team in a full time position. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the functionality, reliability, and security of electrical systems utilized in defense applications. You will work on cutting-edge projects that will be sent to their client in the defense sector, utilizing your expertise in electrical troubleshooting to support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of defense-related technologies. Responsibilities
Design, develop, and test all aspects of electrical systems including battery monitoring, AC/DC power converters, DC/DC power converters, precision sensors, analog circuit design and digital circuit design.
Advanced knowledge of CAD software including PADS Logic, PADS Layout, MATLAB, PSPICE, PSIM, LTSpice
Firmware experience a plus.
Apply advanced principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals
Advanced knowledge of standard concepts and practices such as worst case circuit stress analysis, design failure mode and effect analysis, mean time between failure analysis and thermal stress analysis.
Must be willing to plan and accomplish long term goals with little day to day supervision.
Ability to conceptualize a solution from a set of requirements.
Temperament to work with voltages up to 600V.
Ensure compliance with codes, specifications, and design standards.
May lead and direct the work of others
High degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
standing for 6 hours at one time
