About the Role
TEKsystems is seeking a seasoned OSP Inspector to support a client’s expanding fiber network in the South Jersey and Philadelphia region. This is a long-term contract opportunity for a highly experienced professional who thrives in the field and is passionate about ensuring quality and compliance in fiber optic construction.
Key Responsibilities
Travel to various construction sites to inspect ongoing OSP (Outside Plant) builds.
Ensure all work meets the client’s quality and safety standards.
Document progress through detailed reports and photographs using a laptop.
Communicate effectively with Construction Managers (CMs) and Project Managers (PMs).
Escalate issues when work is not performed to standard or timelines are not met.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
3–5 years of OSP inspection experience.
Strong background in OSP technician work.
Proficient with Cat5, Cat6, coax, and fiber optic cable installation.
Experience documenting field work and reporting using digital tools.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple site visits daily.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience working with low voltage systems.
Background as a technician helper or low voltage installer.
Work Environment
Field-based role with daily travel to construction sites.
No local office – remote work for reporting and administrative tasks.
Company vehicle provided for travel between sites.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
