Your responsibilities Summary: The Warehouse Supervisor for OE is responsible for the day-to-day operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this role is responsible for delivering and executing daily and short-term plans to achieve operational and business objectives. Supervises management team to ensure operational excellence by providing leadership, driving process improvements, coordinating the allocation of resources, controlling expenses, and promoting a safe work environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Demonstrates a passionate commitment to safety and develops the same in others. Ensures compliance with all safety and environmental policies in the workplace and exceeds those standards where appropriate. Ensures appropriate follow up for any risks or incidents to enhance and improve a culture of safety throughout the organization. Ensures the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training team leads and material handlers and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals. Establishes performance standards & metrics in the warehouse. Works directly with front line leadership to communicate and ensure that standards and metrics are implemented, understood by the staff, measured daily and met or exceeded. Trains and manages a team of front-line leaders to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals. Plan, monitor and execute schedules and adjusts as needed to ensure proper staffing that support operational demands and business objectives. Manages inbound and outbound loading and unloading of trucks while maintaining warehouse organization and inventory accuracy. Provides training and coaching for employees in work-related activities, personal growth, performance and career development. Develops team capabilities to meet organizational needs in the short and long-term horizons. Recognizes and reward positive behaviors. Submits complete and accurate incident reports identifying root cause and corrective actions needed in a timely fashion for all safety and quality/service-related incidents. Maintains and implements plans to increase productivity, safety standards, quality, cost control, and employee morale. Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Your profile Experience as a supervisor leading people and managing processes in a warehouse and/or manufacturing environment. Demonstrated knowledge of commonly used warehouse and inventory control processes. Proven ability to continuously improve operational costs and profitability. Proficiency in the use of ERP (preference for SAP) with knowledge and familiarity with WMS, inventory controls, facility management, etc. Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI). Effective hands-on leader who garners trust and loyalty from subordinates and possesses and displays integrity and ethics that are beyond reproach.
