For more information, please visit Brief Job Description The Warehouse Supervisor oversees the day shift warehouse operations as a hands-on leader, serving and motivating warehouse employees, leading by example, and fostering a positive team-building atmosphere. The candidate will supervise and continuously improve all inbound, outbound, and internal inventory movement. Job Responsibilities Supervision, training, and direct assistance of warehouse operations which include, but not limited to, loading/unloading, receiving, sorting, put away, picking, and inventory control. Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials. Ordering supplies and maintaining suitable inventory levels. Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy. Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation. Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations. Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds. Coordinating and maintaining fleets and equipment. Communicating and coordinating with other departments and customers. Leading by example to ensure that all procedures and best practices are consistently followed. Drive an efficient and motivated workforce by providing effective coaching, feedback, and encouragement. Maintain accurate inventory levels by leading regular physical counts with warehouse teams and reconcile discrepancies with the warehouse inventory system. Ensure a culture of safety by enforcing safety standards and adhering to standard operational procedures. Manage the performance of others, including performance/merit reviews, professional development, and disciplinary action. Review and approve OCMs, change controls, and document revisions. Approve new and updated SOPs. Lead team meetings to discuss progress, initiatives, and/or other matters. Read, understand, and comply with cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), including general safety, lock outs and so on. Identify and resolve complex supply chain issues. Manage team's priorities, goals, and resource allocation. Required Qualifications: Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management. Time management skills and the ability to delegate. Excellent leadership and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software. Problem-solving skills. Strong working knowledge of GMP Requirements. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Experience with inventory control, inventory reconciliation, and cycle counting Experience as a warehouse supervisor or a similar management position.
