Advantage Technical Services, Inc HR Generalist in Hamilton, Ohio

Job Title: HR Generalist Location: Fairfield, OH (on-site) Work hour: 8:00am - 4:30pm FLSA: Non-Exempt, Full-Time, Direct Hire A global manufacturing company is seeking an HR Generalist. Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Generalist will support the HR department in various administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records, processing paperwork, and assisting with payroll and benefits tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Payroll experience and/or Japanese bilingual skills are highly preferred but not required. Responsibilities: Maintain employee records in compliance with company policies and procedures. Ensure all timecards are approved in a timely manner. Perform payroll preparation by providing relevant data, such as attendance, leaves, and overtime. Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures. Administer benefit plans including health insurance and retirement plans. Coordinate HR projects, meetings, and training seminars. Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes. Ensure the HR department is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations. Perform other administrative tasks as assigned. Qualifications: Proven experience as an HR Generalist or minimum one year of administrative experience required. Associate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of HR functions and best practices is highly preferred. Japanese bilingual is a big plus.
