Your New Role...
Member of the Local Productions Finance team and the ILP Center of Excellence. Working closely with the FP&A Finance team, the FP&A COE in Poland, GBS as well as the LP legal team, the key focus of this job is to prepare participation statements and ensure timely and accurate reporting and forecast process under US-GAAP and Corporate policies.
Your Role Accountabilities…
Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual statements including specific responsibilities for, but not limited to:
Producer participation statements
Talent reporting
Subsidy reporting
Handling of payment approvals
Responding to internal and external partner’s questions and requirements
Support preparation of LP related intercompany reporting
Support preparation of monthly and quarterly Forecasts and Budgets
Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual closes for statutory and US purposes for Germany, Austria & Switzerland, including specific responsibility for, but not limited to:
Film Costing and other requirements under SOP002
Producer participation analyses/accruals
Support closing documentation
Documentation of business processes
Support internal and external financial audits
Ensure the compliance of financial processes with Internal Controls and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
Respond to ad hoc requests from Team leads, Management, Senior Management and / or Home Office
Support the Financial Controller Local Productions in taking over sophisticated requests and analyses
Qualifications & Experience...
Commercial training as Bilanz- or Finanzbuchhalter and relevant experience
At least 5 years’ experience in Finance, Accounting or Controlling
Sound knowledge of general accounting and reporting practices
Industry experience (theatrical, participations or film production) is an advantage
Experience with the reporting requirements of a multi-national group and in an international business environment is an advantage
Work in a multi-cultural environment
High level of service mindset and sense for accuracy
Communicative, team oriented and open for change, ability to work in a well organized, accurate and reliable manner
Basic business sense
Excellent analytical and reporting skills & problem solver
Excellent knowledge of Excel
Knowledge of ERP Systems SAP R/3 Module FI/CO as well as BW
Able to work on own initiative and prioritize workload effectively
Fluent German in speaking, reading and writing
Able to communicate in English in speaking, reading and writing
Other languages (French, Spanish, Italian) are an advantage
