Job Description

Operational since 2016, Hamburg is one of our Safran Nacelles' most recent sites. It is entirely dedicated to the integration of Airbus A320neo nacelles and was tailor-made to support the ramp-up of that program. In this existing management position, you will be involved in overseeing production and inspection teams to ensure the quality of our nacelles while maintaining cost efficiency:

Your key responsibilities include:

• Production Management: Leading production lines, coordinating with Airbus on daily production planning and deliveries, and implementing continuous improvement plans to advance the production line.

• Quality and Customer Satisfaction: Ensuring high standards of product quality and customer satisfaction in terms of delivery, cost, and service.

• Safety and Standards Compliance: Applying SAFRAN Group's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) and Safety Management System (SMS) rules consistently.

• Team Management: Managing two shopfloor managers (with a team of 30 people) and one final inspection manager (with a team of six people), developing team capabilities, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive team spirit.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Working closely with other functions at the Hamburg site, led by the General Manager, and communicating with the A320neo operations team in Toulouse.

Your reporting structure:

• Reports to the General Manager in Hamburg at the site level.

• Also reports to the business level (A320neo operations in Toulouse).

Complementary Description

You will manage 2 shopfloor manager (team of 30 persons) and 1 final inspection manager (6 persons)

Job Requirements

Your job requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in the aerospace industry, with a successful background in production management.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Team spirit, including collaboration with sister companies.

• Familiarity with Lean and 5S methodologies.

• Ability to manage conflicts and develop team members.

• Flexible, resilient, and reactive in dynamic environments.
