Overview:
- - Set up, program, operate and to tend computerized woodworking machine (CNC router). - Start router machine, adjust controls, and make trial cuts to ensure that machinery is operating properly. - Determine product specifications and materials, work methods, and machine setup requirements, according to blueprints and work orders. - Feed doors into CNC machine to produce desired routing. - Adjust CNC machine tables or cutting devices and set controls to produce specified cuts or operations. - Monitor operation of CNC machine and make adjustments to correct problems and ensure conformance to specifications. - Inspect and mark completed work pieces and stack them on pallets, so that they can be moved to the next workstation. - Verifies quality of all completed products and monitors production. - Masterpack data entry (scrap, reloads, production). - Material Handler responsibilities: Staging product into CNC loader based on WIP schedule, Wrap, label and stage all completed product, Remove and dispose of all cutout debris from machinery.
Qualifications and Experience:
- - Must be mechanically inclined and have good math and measurement skills. - Must read and write English. - Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. - Must have good attendance and safety records. - Must demonstrate solid teamwork abilities. - This position requires high attention to detail.
