Job Description

Industry Expertise: With your extensive knowledge of IAM and data security, you will educate and guide our enterprise clients in the latest security practices. Your ability to understand their unique industry challenges will be crucial in tailoring our solutions to their needs.
Sales Leadership & Collaboration: You will lead and collaborate through the sales process, from lead generation to deal closure. This includes identifying potential clients, conducting security assessments, and presenting customized security solutions. Your goal is to ensure a seamless sales journey and exceed sales targets.
Solution Architecture: Collaborate with our technical teams to design and propose innovative security architectures. Your role is to bridge the gap between technical capabilities and business requirements, ensuring our solutions are both effective and aligned with customer goals.
Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within the enterprise space. Your networking skills will be vital in fostering trust and positioning our company as a preferred security partner.
Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging security threats. Share your insights with the team to refine our sales strategies and value propositions.
Sales Strategy: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns and sales plays. Your input will be essential in crafting compelling messaging and positioning our security solutions effectively.
Customer Success: Ensure customer satisfaction by providing post-sales support and consulting. Your role extends beyond the sale, as you will be involved in customer onboarding, solution implementation, and ongoing security optimization.
Requirements:
Proven work experience in security sales, with a strong focus on IAM and data security solutions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex security concepts for diverse audiences.
A strategic mindset with a results-driven approach to sales and business development.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
A relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities
The Security Specialist will serve in a field sales overlay capacity serving large commercial enterprise customers. As a Security/Privacy/Solution expert, the Security Sales Specialist is responsible for evangelizing Oracle's differentiated hybrid Security capabilities internally and externally with a focus on revenue growth and accelerating customer value.
In this role, the Security Sales Specialist will focus on driving revenue growth across Oracle's hybrid security portfolios and staying engaged with commercial Enterprise customers throughout the full sales cycle. This role involves strategic alignment with Oracle's prime Tech/Cloud sales and engineering associates to execute on cross-pillar and stand-alone security business. Regular cadence with in-territory Sales Leaders, Technical SME's, SI partners, Product Mgmt, and Business Development counterparts are essential to driving portfolio mindshare, pipeline, and revenue growth.
The Sales Specialist will be responsible for meeting/exceeding an annual revenue target by building a healthy pipeline, forecasting accurately, and closing revenue generating software license Security opportunities in a linear fashion. 10+ years of field sales experience with domain expertise in hybrid Data Security and/or Identity Management solutions within the vertical is critical to being successful in this role.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,800 to $185,100 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 45/55.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
