How will you make an Impact? -
Supervise the daily operation of the Tool Room while developing future capabilities to support growth and continuous improvement, while leading a diverse group of technicians in this highly technical role that requires strong manufacturing and tooling experience.
What will you do? ---
Manage Tooling projects
Partner with our customers to satisfy their expectations
Interact with approved suppliers to complete assignments and projects
Establish individual, team, and departmental short- & long-term goals
Communicate current mold & project status
Assist and support other functional groups
Lead and support cross functional quality and root cause investigations
Provide definitive solutions to chronic molding issues
How will you get here? -
Education:
- Manufacturing vocational degree or certification
Experience:
Past leadership experience managing up to 6 direct reports
Experience in an injection molding environment with a minimum of 5-7 years in mold repair
2+ years of supervisory experience
Hands-on experience in plastic injection molding/tooling service and repairs
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Plastic injection mold construction and repair
Root cause analyses
Project management
Leadership
Computer literacy
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
