APAC Human Capital Solutions – Asia Pacific Data Solutions Operations Leader

Reporting helix into the Global Data Solutions Operations Leader and APAC Talent Solutions (TS) COO and in collaboration with the APAC Data Solutions leadership team, the Head of APAC Data Solutions Operations drives HCA and RMCD delivery that impact the region and global clients.

The role is accountable for delivering optimal results through the successful deployment and the execution of initiatives that support the data solutions business growth strategy and priorities for the APAC region. The Asia Pacific Data Solutions Operations Leader will deliver value to clients and colleagues by optimizing operations, leveraging scale, and determining resource requirements. The Asia Pacific Data Solutions Operations Leader will also identify and address issues around client satisfaction, operational excellence and margin improvement working closely with global Data Solutions Operations teams and Centres of Excellence.

This role will help drive continuous transformation activities as we continue to consolidate our data product portfolio across the APAC region and directly manage the Data Solutions Operations teams in the region—accountable to the Global Data Solutions Operations Leader, and collaborate with the Global and Asia Pacific Data Solutions Leadership team.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage and engage Data Solutions Operations of 8 people, located across the region to ensure alignment of the regional strategy and operation to the global strategy and operation (key markets: Southeast Asia, India, Australia, Hong Kong, Japan).

  • Manage Data Solutions Operations (including Platform Operation and Data Operations) for data solutions products and services delivered in the region and aligned with the global Data Solutions strategy.

  • Platform Operations

  • Client Experience Management (Onboarding clients to platforms with proper access rights, providing training, answering client inquires and managing platform tickets to make sure they are managed till closure, ensuring client delivery requirements have been delivered as outlined in contracts).

  • Product Data Review (Collaborate with each data solutions team undertaking market data review activities and global data solutions operations to review the overall content, coverage, and quality of the cross-client data contained within a survey and ensuring proper configuration)

  • Data Operations

  • Data progress tracking & risk management (ensuring data is received, reviewed, and published in line with global schedules and local market priorities)

  • Platform Integrations (Ensure data products and curated reports are set-up accurately on both a preliminary and final basis and published correctly & on schedule to all platforms)

  • Data & Analytics Management (Tracking data management activities such as data submission loading, data editing requests, scheduling data validation reports, other data & analytics management/automation.)

  • Data Foundations, Overall Efficiency & Technology (Ensure all technology, operational efficiencies, overall readiness for client and product delivery including site set-up, calculations, data elements, survey set-up, etc.).

  • Drives global consistency within data solutions platforms and processes. Coordinate with each local team, manage the process for global platforms and applications testing deployment and improvement.

  • Work with APAC Data Solutions Leadership team for Data Solutions product management activities, including:

  • Product Coverage (surveys and studies), content, principles, suppression, data privacy.

  • Product Content, including methodology decisions and validating data sets prior to publication.

  • Product Assets (product materials to facilitate client engagement)

  • Brings regional voice of the client and colleagues relating to data solutions products and platforms to global strategic and tactical decision making.

  • Drives operational excellence and accelerated milestone achievements (such as releasing data collection, timely data receipt, quarterly publications)

  • Along with the TS APAC COO, set the operating strategy for the data solutions business. Develop strategic plans and conduct business analysis to support commercial objectives.

  • Will be responsible for direct delivery targets – on time as well as high quality to the client.

  • Ensuring a high level of regional team collaboration with global data solutions teams, processes and transformation.

  • Implementing global initiatives in region, ensuring regional market nuance and business priorities are reflected when designing global plans. Actively encourages and ensures utilization of scaled capabilities within function and across the wider data solutions business.
