Mississippi Employer Truck Driver(Class A) in Gulfport, Mississippi
- Must have a Class-A Commercial Driver's License with a clean motor vehicle record, and a current DOT physical card. Must provide a current (within last 30 days) copy of driving record. 2. Must have at least 1 year Tractor-Trailer driving experience. 3. Ability to perform hooking and unhooking procedures. 4. Must be able to safely maneuver vehicles, forward and backward, and in tight quarters. 5. Ability to safely operate a semi-tractor/trailer and/or operate a truck and/or utility van. 6. Physically able to lift, push, pull and move equipment, heavy carts throughout the day, with ability to load and unload carts from the trailers, trucks or utility vans. 7. Physically able to bend, stoop, sit, stand and walk throughout the day. 8. Ability to accurately check fluid levels for proper vehicle operation. 9. Must be able to read and write English. 10. Must be able to accurately perform simple mathematics. 11. Must have professional communication skills. MINIMUM STANDARDS: 1. Accurately complete a vehicle maintenance check daily, WITH NO EXCEPTIONS. 2. Make deliveries in accordance with the established schedule, WITH NO EXCEPTIONS. 3. Safely and prudently operate company owned vehicles at all times, WITH NO EXCEPTIONS. 4. Weigh all returned rejected linen and issue credit slip, WITH NO EXCEPTIONS. 5. Observe establish safety guidelines and wear safety equipment/protective gear when required, WITH NO EXCEPTIONS.
