Intel Software Developer Student worker in Guadalajara, Mexico

Job Description

We are looking for a Software Automation Developer Intern to contribute with the heavy workload attributed to automating CI pipelines, packaging and delivering Intel products.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral trait:

  • Advanced proactive and team player skills.

  • Strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications,

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position:

  • Active student in Computer Science, Information Management/Systems, Mathematics, or related field (remain as an active student for at least 1 year).

  • 6+ months of experience in Linux and/or Windows OS (Preferably both).

  • 6+ months of experience with Linux and/or Windows command line (Preferably both).

  • 3+ months of experience Git/GitHub version control.

  • 6+ months of experience working on Python and/or shell scripting (Preferably both).

  • Willing to work in mornings (CST), this position will be interacting with other teams in Europe and Mexico.

  • Intermediate to advanced English level.

  • Have a legal permit to work in Mexico.

  • The position is located in Mexico, it is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications,

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are a plus factor in identifying top candidates:

  • Familiar with the Software Development Lifecycle.

  • Familiar with Continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) automation tools. (jenkins, github actions)

  • Cloud Native Technologies (K8s, Docker, Containers, VMs).

  • Intermediate Debugging and Automation Development skills.

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
